These green vines have treasures hidden under their leaves.  I have been having fun  picking these this week and enjoying their sweet flavor~

You can just taste these by looking at them. YUM!!!YUM~!!!

Mothers Are very Special~~~~~

Looking sunset and the spring flowers~~~ brings back so many memories of Mother's day in the past. This has been such a Special Week with our Granddaughter turning "16" and her first Prom. She was sooo beautiful. I'm sure all Grandma's thought the same of their  girls. On Mon. She made her first trip to our house in her new car to bring me a card.~~~ Do not open until Sun, it says on the envelope. She does not realize how special that is!!  I found a poem today in a Ideals book that my Girls had given me when they were small.. They had printed their names ~~To Mom it says. Oh my , the tears~~ LIFE'S PRECIOUS MOMENTS~God gave the world stars.....and there was beauty.  God gavethe world sun...and there was warmth.  God gave the world rain...and there was life.  God gave the world Mothers.. and there was love.  {Carl Goelier}  May this Mother's day bring you Love and hugs and Wonderful Memories of those no longer with us.

Easter Blessings to all!!

I always love all the violets that bloom thire hearts out in the spring. I had to snap this at work. The ground was lavender with them. Violets and especially pansy's are my favorite flowers, along with so many others.

 my Teapot My Sis and Aunt give me. I sure enjoy using it this time of year.

 The little rabbit candle  was mine when I was little. Same with the plaster rabbit holding the egg. It has 10cents on the bottom still.

Our Girls' were all decked out for Easter!!

 I made these dresses for our girls many yrs. ago for their Easter. The sleeveless one had a cape and was Beth's for her 2nd Easter.  Then Ms Sara came along and I made them dresses alike for that yr. Always had to have ruffle socks and shiney white shoes. In my day, you usually had white gloves also. My how times ===do change.

Memories from Easter's past and today!!

This little bonnet was worn by many yrs. ago and I carried this hankie in my patent leather purse. It has to be atleast 60 yrs. old or shall I say young. It has made many moves with us, but I always keep it out on display.

The dogwood along with the white Easter lilies always makes me think of this time of year. We are so blessed with such beautiful things around us. May we take time out to realize that Jesus died on the cross  to save us all. It is with a humble heart -- that I hope I can live my Life for Him.   Have a Blessed Easter, everyone.
