To new beginnings

As we attend all the festivities for our Granddaughter, Taylor---it all seems to finally soak in that she is a grown up lady now and not our little one that we made so many memories with her and her sister~~~ We will enjoy watching her go to college and work hard to make all her dreams come true~~We will support her in any way we can~~In all this there is always a tear to shed~~Not really sadness, I guess happiness for her and this special time in her life~~We have always been so much a part of their lives in growing up ~This is Inew part that she will do on her own and We have all the faith that she will excel in her endeavers~~Still '~~I can't help to shed some tears here alone~~All the tea parties and all the fun we have had for all these 18 years>  Guess I am going to have to do some of the projects that have been  sitting on the back burner~~~and we still have our Kayla to go to her ballgames and enjoy 3 more years of all her activities in high school~~~ Just had to let it go alittle~~~

 these pretty little tulips are so bright in the sunshine!!The weather man just said there will be snow probably~~This weather is sure amazing and full of surprises!

 Nothing little baby calves and the green--green grass of spring~~to make you just take a deep breathe and enjoy the sights of nature~~

May Day~~~

On Sunday eve~~we took a evening ride down thru the country roads in our neighborhood!~~such beauty of nature you can see taking a wagon ride~

Fields of purple which the farmers don't really like and try to get rid of, but still pretty~~

 on this 1st day of May the Redbud is blooming and the sky is so beautiful~~winds of change once again are in the forcast~~~~

Setting out on the deck this eve was so enjoyable after a hectic day at work ~~~THe next weeks will be filled with activities for Taylor as she graduates~~~We celebrated her Birthday last night with pizza and cake and homemade Icecream~~We have to grasp every minute we have with her and our families~~Time goes by so fast~~ I feel like I am so behind with this weather and all my flowers~~Richard made me another flower bed in front of my little fun shed that I have so many plans for ~~~Always have to have our dreams~~ a little extra boost of energy always helps too!~!Wishing the best to all and a Happy May Day~Memories of this day when I was a little girl and would gather a bouquet and put on my Mom''s door~~knock and run and hide! I should have made baskets for several today!! I don;t do all these things that I should~Winds of change are already picking up out there and colder!!!Hopefully not to many days of cold!Our family in NOrthwest Iowa are getting snow right now~~BRR!!!!

Saying Hello to May!!!

 Such a beautiful sunset~~~~

April brought  lots of showers for May flowers~~~ready for some warm days to plant some~~Have lots of plans ~ got a lot of weeds and brush trimmed last week!!! Was good to be outside~~ April has  been full of special activities~~50th wedding anniversary  for our Sister and her Husband!!Such a nice celebration with lots of Richard's brothers and sisters and family.  Ten kids in the family, so when we all get together it is a bunch~~ We celebrate our Granddaughters prom tomorrow~~Her Senior year. Sun will be my "Sister/cousins Retirement party~~ She is such a special lady and I hope we can spend summer days together!! Mon will be our Girls 18th birthday!!!Then May brings another milestone for us all~~She graduates from High School and will be making plans to go off to UMKC to college~~ Time does not wait on us~~~Enjoy each day with all its blessings~~~~~
