Lifestyle change

So many life changes in 2017 ~~We sold our farm and moved to Macon~Treasure all the pictures of the sunrise and sunsets from our country Hill! We are adjusting to town life~I retired from my job of over 25 years~Enjoy these winter days of cold and snow being inside and filtering thru all the treasures I packed and moved~ Enjoy each new day, no matter where you lay your head♥

 The sunrise was amazing this morning~~ Love being home and catching it just at that

right moment when the rose tint is so brilliant~~A moment later then it is gone

The fog rolls in each morning~~Then the sun breaks thru~~so enjoy bouquets of flowers on our deck~~~This is the time to enjoy the outdoors in MO~~ Hoping for many days of fall and warm, crisp weather ahead~~ENJOY~~

Enjoying these last days of summer~~~Both of our Granddaughters are in college now~~Things are different~~No ballgames and school activities to go to after many years~~One is a senior at UMKC and the youngest is a freshman at Missouri Southwest~~looking forward to visits at each town~~~The garden has ended its bounty of goodies~~ Just a few tomatoes left~~Flowers are all still in their glory~~Soon the leaves will be starting to show their blazing colors.Ready to decorate with the pumpkins and fall decor~~Have a wonderful season and enjoy each day☺

A new start

It has been so long since I have posted~~ TIme flies by and there is so much to write`~everyday is a day to be thankful for and breathe in the beauty that surrounds our own little world on our little hill~~~

Once again~~~Time flies by and here it is December~

This is a beautiful sunrise on this last day of NOvember~~Where oh where does the months go? Each day has its own beauty in the sunrise and sunset~~

The turkeys will soon be packed away and bring out all the festive Christmas~~~We have painted our big front  room~~Will be so much fun decorating and having our families here to enjoy!! LOts to be thankful for on this day and always☺

Hello to October and the Beauty of Fall ~~

 A beautiful Sept morn  the First day of Autumn!!Such beauty that we get from the clouds, sky and foliage!!

This sunset is the end of the day and the last day of Sept!!Wonder where in the world it has gone to!

Saying Good-bye to July and Hello to August~~

The end of July always has a sad note to me~~Plans that I had made and did not carry thru~~The hectic time ahead of school starting and knowing that our Granddaughters will so busy~~One going back to UMKC for her 2nd yr. in college~~Miss her dropping in and saying Hi~~And Kayla starting her busy Jr. yr. and preparing for her future and college too~~

Pickled Beets canned for the winter days ahead(If they last that long) A favorite of  all our Girls!!

Richard knows I like to decorate for fall, so he gathered up the corn into shocks/ Years gone by, this was done to feed the livestock in the winter~~

Flowers of Summer seem to show their beauty more as we know the weeks are enjoyment get shorter~~We have had such a beautiful summer~~Take a deep breathe and enjoy☺

Tony and Charlie probably have a idea that with cooler weather~~They will get hitched up and wagon rides will be ahead~~YEAH~~

Not to be forgotten are the beautiful sunsets that we enjoy each and every day from out country hillside!!

Going out early this morning, there was a cool breeze and I picked Beans and zucchini out of our Garden~~The Birds were happily singing and enjoying the cool wind~~Later on  it was a different story~~so hot~~We cooked beets out on the burner in the garage~~Might say the Summer Kitchen~~Also Richard did up more corn. Will taste so good this winter and we will remember the heat from this day

My First Dahlia's are beginning to bloom. These make me think back  many yrs, when My Grandad and Ma would take their glads and dahlia to the state fair and would win all kinds of ribbons with their beauty~~
